These ceramic cups are a signature of Grottaglie ceramic creations. The same designs are seen in a variety of tableware from plates, bowls, jugs, to vases. The master craftsmen obtain the stained effect (smamriato) by spraying the plates with bunches of twigs from the Mediterranean shrubs, dipped in the residual glaze of colors. This has always made every piece unique and special.
